Neuro-Linguistic Programming explores the fundamental relationship between the mind and language, and how their interplay affects behaviour. Our NLP Workshop is aimed at all personnel to enable them to communicate more effectively, particularly in volatile situations.

 

Workshop Objectives

Delegates will be taught to identify challenging behaviour in themselves and others and how they can respond to and deal with this. During the Workshop, delegates will learn to think more clearly and exert greater control over their moods and behaviours. They will be given the skills, motivation and confidence to achieve more in their personal work lives.

  • Introduction to NLP and advanced communication skills

  • Recognizing the effect NLP can have on cognitive, physical and emotional states

  • Using the positive effects of NLP to enhance performance, how NLP can be used to gain a win/win outcome and enhance professionalism

  • Adopting coping strategies for dealing with highly-charged situations

  • Examining an individual’s map of their World in relation to modalities and sub modalities

  • Persuasive language and how to win the enthusiastic cooperation of others

  • Research on the eye movement phenomenon to identify thought patterns, lying etc.

  • Rapport building and the joint up concept

  • Responding to harassment or bullying by service users and others

  • Identifying good and bad body language in oneself and others

  • Skilled listening using eyes and ears (understanding where they are coming from)

  • Transactional analysis (the part played by ego states during communications)

  • How to respond if communication is breaking down
